Gender equality is one of the sustainable development goals. In FANBEST, we would like to promote it and give some ideas about the role of women in the Blue Economy.
That’s why the Institute of Technology, Tralee is organizing the Women’s Roundtable Conference on Blue Economy in collaboration with the DCU Ryan Academy.
This Women’s Roundtable to be held on July 14th, we will have the opportunity to listen to four female speakers.Who have stood out in their respective careers, while promoting the profile of women in various roles as Entrepreneurs and Researchers. They have mapped out their careers in the Blue Economy sectors and continue to do so. Together, they will enlighten us on the potential of the oceans and the contribution that women have been making in the present and what the future holds for them.
