As the SAFER – Smart Atlantic Seafood Clusters project is coming to an end, its final conference will be held online on the 20th of September from 14.00 to 17.00 CET. The conference is organised in the framework of the CPMR Fisheries Working Group, in order to showcase the project’s results to other sea basins and inspire other maritime regions.

The event is structured as follows:

• The first session will be dedicated to the presentation of the project and the results from the innovation transfer actions implemented in the project
• The second session will have the main goal to identify CPMR regions that would share their experience in innovation in the seafood sector, understand how the new operational programmes integrate this dimension and if there are doubts or obstacles on financing opportunities
• The third session will focus on the financing options through the EU Commission, the EIT and the macro-regional or sea-basin strategies.

During the first part of the conference, there will be a Q&A session where participants will have the opportunity to share their views and experience on the sector.
