Atlanpole present at the BlueInvest Day

FanBest was represented by the partner Atlanpole to position its Sea Innovation Hub and connect its regional ecosystem with the BlueInvest community. A delegation of 30 participants from four regions: start-ups, SMEs, and support structures (Atlanpole, Technopole Brest-Iroise, PMBA, EBN) were in Brussels.

During these two days they customized a set of meetings and presentations and exchanges with three different Directorates of the European Commission (DG MARE, DG GROW & DG RTD). Its participation was also the opportunity for Atlanpole to promote the ongoing work through the FANBEST project. FANBEST is developing a stock market platform aiming to facilitate technological transfer for entrepreneurs having innovative ideas within the Blue Economy.

The event, organised by the European Commission (DG MARE,) gathered for its 3rd edition, more than 500 participants: innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, companies and facilitators from the blue economy sector, with the aim of generating concrete business opportunities and visibility for the participating companies.

On this occasion, around 20 innovative European companies were selected to come and “pitch” their project on stage in front of a panel of investors in a pitching competition with 5 winners. In addition, face-to-face meetings were also organised throughout the day to enhance collaboration and business opportunities.
